I hired Erik Jensen and his team at Spricehill Contracting to build a custom home to replace the home I grew up in. They were really sensitive to the nostalgic aspect of this project, which made us feel heard and cared about. Construction began in July of 2014 and we moved in September of 2015. The quality of work that Sprucehill’s team and trades did was excellent. Everyone they work with was very professional and seemed to really care about the quality of their work. One of the things we liked the most about working with Sprucehill was our weekly budget reports. We always felt like we were in the driver’s seat and knew where the budget was at (and where it may grow to!). And changes we made were quickly documents and added to the overall budget. Ultimately, we feel like we recieved excellent value for the money spent. Any issues that came up during construction or shortly thereafter were quickly addressed and taken care of. About a year after we moved in, we had a bunch of nail pops and other minor deficiencies that needed to be addressed. Erik and his team took care of them quickly and efficiently without any issues. At the end of the day, we are really happy we hired Sprucehill to build our dream home, complete with our amazing pool!
